Secretary’s Report:
Sec. Paca read his Secretary’s Report, greeting everyone a happy new year.
Sec invites everyone to check the issued portside might as well the website to see different reminders and reports from the district.
Highlights were the following, Rotary Foundation TRF were published already, upcoming DISCON to be at Waterfront, Lahug, Cebu City on March 2-4 of this year, guidelines for the governor’s monthly letter and lastly the Journey Message of Gov. Me’anne
President’s Corner & Other Matters
Pres. Toby read his presidential messaged by welcoming fellow Rotarians for the first meeting for the year 2017
President asked Treas Larry to give fiscal report after the first semester and to be presented to the body next meeting which includes the Rotaplast and other operational activities.
PP Tony asking Rotarians who can be with him in entertaining Rotary Clubs from Canada, this is a joint project of RCCPC and PP Tony foundation. There were project presented for the club to sponsor and it was giving away PHP 200.00 worth of school supplies to 120 students of the chosen beneficiary of Tony Ynoc Foundation. A total of PHP 24, 000.00 donation.
Rotary Week is fast approaching which would be on Feb 18-24, 2017. The district will be providing booth for us that is for free, Dir Jeff will take charge of the pictures so however does have please submit it to Dir Jeff.
Our club will be sponsoring to 2 delegates for RYLA and we’ll ask for Rotaractors to submit two names as our Club’s delegate by next meeting.
Lastly, reminding everyone to settle their 2nd semester dues. For everyone’s information RI has increased the exchange rate to Php 50 = $1.
