RCCPC visited by fellow Rotarians and Projects for 2016

RCCPC was visited by District Governor Bob Bruce and Nan Bruce (District 7090 Canada), District Governor John Van Laar and Cora Van Laar (District 7010 Canada), Pres. Rey Mangayao (President RC Mactan) and District Governor Martha (Cebu West) bearing great news to RCCPC.

RCCPC dominated the stage as they gathered Awards from the District Assembly Last Saturday May 22, 2016. Jeffrey Tan was the representative who claimed all the awards (Leadership Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, Top of Field: Peace and Conflict, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Disease prevention and Treatment- blood getting, Water and Sanitation). These Awards wouldn’t be possible without the Rotarians.

Ms. Martha announced that the Global Grand was approved by the District of Canada, she also announced that Cebu West Donated Computers to Tambugon Elementary School, and also shared that many of the ALS Graduates are already working, and that Rotarians are also Supporting the Back to School Program.

District Canada on the other hand, promised to give RCCPC a MOBILE CLINIC to enhance the medical missions in the community. They also promised to donate New Computers since E-learning was stopped due to aging computers and RCCPC likewise promised to maintain the equipment as necessary. Indeed, Projects would never be successful without a helping hand. Thanks to District Canada for this great news.

Ynoc Foundation is a long running foundation helping thousands of people in our community. This July, Ynoc Foundation will be having a guest from Manila with an EYE PROJECT geared to help the Foundation. This July 3, 2016, schools that are located in San Remegio will be visited by this project, and lenses will be donated to students since 10% of them are suffering from eye problems.

Pres. Minmie Cherryl Labang, RAC Cebu Port President has announced that this 4^th of June 2016, 7:00 pm at Fort San Pedro is their Rotaract District Conference and veryone is invited in this event. And lastly Pres. Boy announced that this 6^th of June 2016 is the Charter’s Anniversary.

Nothing can really stop Rotarians from helping the community. Rotarians are indeed a blessing to the Community.
