RCCPC Secretary’s Message – Week 2

Good evening fellow rotarians and guests. Last meeting July 2, 2018 our recorded attendance is at 35% (18/52). We have to give thanks of the following rotarians who made part of our program last week. The dynamic Rotarian of the evening who came so prepared in his role, Dir. Jensen Racho. Leading us for the invocation and Pambansang Awit PSAG Tony Ynoc, reciting the four way test and rotary credo PP George Hong, introduction of guest and visiting rotarians was given to us by PSAG Al Alcibar. We have 6 guests last week namely: Gloria Ynoc (spouse of PSAG Tony Ynoc), Mr. Ludwig Amandon, Mr. Nestor Toledo, PP Romy Toledo, Rotaract PP Minie Labang and Mr. Joey Cal. We also gave plaque of appreciatios to PSAG Tony Ynoc and the Ynoc foundation. Our guest speaker last meeting was PP Romy Toledo which highlighted the success of the medical mission in partnership with MTF International and some local partners that includes, LGU Naga, LGU Talisay, BCBP Talisay, LGU Borbon, LGU San Remegio, Province of Cebu and ADYnoc Foundation.
We have two noted club activities last week and the said activities happened on the same day.
First, the turnover of claim to the beneficiaries of the insured CITOM personnel who died while on duty. The amount given is Php250,000.00. Especial thanks to the PIONEER insurance, our official partner for the Outstanding CITOM awards project which happened yearly. Present on the said activity were: AG Boy Unabia, PE Jun Falcon and Director Jensen Racho. Those who followed were: Pres. Rodien, IPP Sam Tiu, Rtn. Felix Asoy, Rtn. Dave Ismael, Rtn Robert Barquilla and Rtn Jonathan Roble.
The second activity was the celebration of the Rotary New Year which has a team ONE ROTARY, ONE DISTRICT. The activity was celebrated in Tejero Elementary School in which we gave heavy snacks to all approximately 550 grade 1 students. There were 14 Rotarians went and spent their time with the kids, among of them were: Pres. Rodien, VP John Sulay, Sec. Aldrin, Treas. Boboy Tan, IPP Sam Tiu, PE Jun Falcon, Dir. Jensen Racho, Rtn., Robert Barquilla, Rtn., Jonathan Roble, Rtn Philip Jun Pagatpat, Rtn, Felix Asoy, Rotarian Dave Ismael, Rtn Wonji Bae and Rtn. Anthony Cepeda. I would like to highlight to the membership that there were six(6) NEW rotarians present in the said events.
