RCCPC President’s Message – Week 24

Good evening Rotarians and spouses.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all.
My apologies for the short notice for the fellowship. The initial plan was to have the Valentine’s fellowship together with the spouse meeting on the 3rd Monday but it may be a busy week next week because it is Rotary week.
The Rotary week schedule is printed on our bulletin. I hope we can all participate. We will be calling throughout the week to get you to commit to activities.
We had a whole day activity with our visitors from the Rotary Club of Oita Minami. We visited 3 probable water drilling sites. We will give a better report on the sites during the next meeting. I am very pleased to report that the Rotary Club of Oita Minami gave ¥300,000 for water drilling projects. We hope we can implement them during the summer break.
Thank you to Pp Marcy for continuing to develop our relationships with our sister clubs from Japan.
I would like to congratulate our golf team that went to Cagayan de Oro to participate in the Rotary Golf Foundation tournament. They finished first runner up. One of the also won the individual Champion award in the Super Senior category. Congratulations team.
Thank you to Pp Ed for the calf, Pp Al for the lechon, PE Rodien for the wine, and PDG Anton for fish.
