MINUTES OF THE MEETING

WEEK 17 – BOARD MEETING

 

November 25, 2016

Meeting started at 12:15 PM with 11 board members were present.

 

Programme

Call to Order……………………………………………. Pres. Toby Florendo

 

Presidents Corner:

 

The President elaborates important matters that the board must decide and knew about.

 

First, concerned from PP Benjie regarding the qualification of being elected and nominated club officers. The president suggests that this would be the discussed to the body by the set Nominating Committees which composed of 3Past President, PP Marcy Koike, PP Chilo Delator and PP Jose Unabia. They were the ones responsible in screening and choosing who would be the next set of officers.

 

Second, upcoming Club’s Christmas party which would be on December 5, Sec Rodien posted the groupings already. Each group must prepare any presentation during the party.

 

Each team must have their team leader,

  1. White Team – Dir Daleon, Sgt-at-Arms Alegado, Dir Gobonseng, and Dir Jeff
  2. Blue Team- Dir. Abay-Abay, PP Akol, P.Elect Tiu, Sec Paca
  3. Red Team- V.Pres Bantillan, R. AG Cabatana, Treas. Lelina, PP Valer
  4. Yellow Team- Pres. Toby, Dir. Guangko, Dir. Racho, PP Jamero

Committees for the party were:

  1. Decoration- Sps. Lili Florendo
  2. Program and Games- Sps. Emmie Hwang
  3. Emcee- Dir. Daryll Abay-Abay
  4. Purchasing (gifts, prizes, etc.)- Dir Jeff Tan
  5. Food- it depends on next Regular Meeting pledges (Nov 28, 2016)

In relation to celebration, assessment of the Birthday Celebrant and Wedding Anniversaries could be contributed during Christmas Party and Tejero Gift Giving to raise funds. Aside from that each Rotarians would be asked to contribute Php 1, 000 and Php 500 for the spouse even they would not attend. Contribution would be waived if member contributes more than Php 3,000 of food or prizes.

Other Matters:

RCCPC Christmas Gift Giving- chosen benefactors would be 427 Tejero Elementary School identified through feeding program. Dir Armand suggested to gave them slippers or rubber black shoes for Php 50 budget each kid. Matter would be discussed to the board for approval.

Fellowship- Sec Paca suggests that instead of Regular Meeting ith the spouses 3rd Monday of the month would be converted to fellowship singing.

TRF Contribution- updated from the start to present contribution of RCCPC was already out, it would be posted next portside bulletin for everyone’s informations.

Turn-over- Dir. Kit Daleon turn over $400 to Pres. Toby as his contribution to become Paul Harris Fellow which be held on March 2-4, 2017 at Cebu Waterfront Hotel.

 

Meeting was adjourned 2:10PM.
