WEEK 24 – REGULAR MEETING

March 13, 2017

Meeting started at 7:30 PM with 20 members were present, 3 guests.

Secretary’s Report:

Sec Paca wasn’t able to come today’s meeting due to Business Meeting at Negros elaborated by Pres Toby before reading Secretary’s Report.

Pres Toby read and recognizes Discon Delegates who were present and participated during the DisCon 2017 one by one. Delegates are composing of 16 Rotarians, 5 spouses and 2 rotaractors.

In Secretary’s Report, water drilling project are reminded with perspective team leaders and their designated areas to look after for the success of project implementation.

President’s Corner & Other Matters

Pres. Toby read his presidential report thanking everyone who attended the 3 day event of DisCon

Pres also mentions the Club’s Golf Hosting of the Discon Fellowship “Swing to End Polio”. 36 golfers played including the RIPR Robert Hall and PRID Guiller Tumangan. There are also member of the club won the championship, PP George and Pres Toby.

Pres Toby elaborates happenings during the 3 day event of DisCon from Processional Walk with Gov to recognition, appreciation, and awards received by the club and all the good night filled with fun and glam celebration.

Water Drilling meeting are set on March 16, 2017 4:00pm at Cebu Country Club together with team leaders to discuss implementation and progress of project.

ALS update is not yet available about their graduation due to delays of exam initiated by National Level.

Pres encourages new set of officer to be present and participate for the upcoming District event which is the Distas on May 26-27 in Tagum, Davao.

Other Matters:

Water Drilling- Additional school which is Barrio Luz will be added to water drilling project for this Rotary Year which will be headed by Dir. John Sulay

Charter Anniversary-Pres Toby task VPres. Roland to take charge of the charter anniv on June 6, Tuesday of 2017 since he and Sec Paca will be out of the country and subject to return 2 days prior the event. Vpres Roland agrees.
Rotaract Project- RAC Pres. Eljohn discuss their Amlan project wherein the club sponsor 12, 000 pesos for their benefactors feeding and gift giving. Next meeting will discussed their “I am Green” Project in Bantayan
Tejero Feeding- Pres Toby reminded all rotarians to come and participate feeding program every Wednesday at Tejero Elem School for we are down to 3 feeding for this school year.
Rotary Info- Pres Toby reminded that Mr. Antonio Tan resume were sent via email. After two days that he will not received any reactions or comments they will proceed for next step. Rotary Inofrmation will be initiated by Pres with PDG Ted Locson.
