Minutes of the Meeting
July 4, 2016
The first regular weekly meeting for Rotary Year 2016-2017 was started at 7:30 pm lead by the incoming President Mr. Toby Florendo was held at the Acacia Room, Cebu Country Club, Cebu City. There were 27 Rotary Members and 7 Guest where present. Here is the programme as depicted below.

Secretary’s Time:
Sec. Rodien Paca read his Secretary’s Message and changes in the rotary. He also discussed about the RCCPC Website and informed the Rotarians to visit the website (http://www.rccpc-org.com/). The website has a lot of information about the rotary, e.g. rotary projects, events, attendances and etc., rotary members can even make their own write up on the website post pictures, link it to facebook.
Sec. Rodien Paca and the President Mr. Toby Florendo were been recognized or appreciated for the initiative of the RCCPC Website by AG Gilbert Cabanatana.
President’s Corner and Other Matters:
President Mr. Toby Florendo read his Presidents Message as he welcomed the Rotarians and welcomes the Rotary Year 2016-2017. This is the Rotary Year that the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Center Serves Humanity. He discussed about the upcoming 32nd Induction of Officers and Directors and asking for the support of fellow Rotarians and the first step will be, by supporting the induction of these incoming officers. Dress code will be Coat and Tie for men and Dress for the Ladies. Registration starts at 6:00PM. It will be held at Capiz Ballroom, Cebu Country Club, Banilad Cebu City dated July 11, 2016. Pres. Toby Florendo asked the members in the meeting for any suggestion and comments for the induction programme.
Changes were made in the programme as follows;
- Charging of President will be done by PDG Anton Florendo.
- There will be an actual signing of the agreement.
- Lunching of the RCCPC Website will be added in the Programme.
It is also agreed about the solicitation (Portside and Induction combined, for every five thousand pesos (5,000) solicited the member can bring 1 person for free, for ten thousand (10,000) 2 person for free and so on. If a member has no solicitation the member will be assessed for one thousand pesos (1,000) and for every guest or family members that he may bring he will be assessed for five hundred pesos (500) each.
Arrival of the Japanese guest was mentioned in the meeting, playing golf and visiting the San Remegio Project and visiting the Tejero Project.
Sec. Rodien Paca asked the members to submit company’s logos and calling cards for those who haven’t submitted for advertisement. He also informed Rotarians to submit or send their photos and bio-data to be posted and updated in the website.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00PM by the Pres. Mr. Toby Florendo.
