Good evening Rotarians.
Welcome to our 32nd meeting for the Rotary Year.
Tonight we have a special guest. Someone who has given much of his time, effort, and resources to our club. Let us all welcome back to our club our Past President Romy Toledo. We will be asking PP to continue to contribute to our club by being our guest speaker tonight.
The Board of Directors/Officers met last Thursday. I would like to thank those who attended the meeting. VP Roland, Treasurer Larry, Directors John, Jeff, and Jensen.
Our Charter Anniversary has been set for June 6, Tuesday at 7pm. It will be at the Molave room of Cebu Country Club. The attire will be our white short sleeve barong and dark pants. We hope to receive some pledges for food and drinks.
We have extended our invitation to the Rotary Club of Oita Minami for that event. They were supposed to visit earlier but are trying to rearrange their schedule to be able to join us. We will prepare activities for them during their visit.
The induction of the next set of officers has also been set for June 26. PE Sam is making arrangements for the venue. We will also be having guests from Japan. 3 Rotary Clubs from Japan will be joining us that evening. PE Sam will give as an update as the event draws near.
Starting tonight some of you will be receiving love letters from our Treasurer. As Rotarians we have to remember our duties and responsibilities to our club. Next Monday, May 1 is a holiday so our next meeting will be on May 8.
