Welcome to our 31st Week of GMM of RY 2017-2018. Last Monday, January 22, 2018 we discussed about the need of retrieving the files of the hard drive of Fe Escano and purchase of a laptop computer and external hard drive. Also, PP Jack suggested assigning a committee that will study the possibility of building or buying a CLUB HOUSE for RCCPC. The committee will compose of PDG ANTON, PP GEORGE HONG, PP MARCY KOIKE, PP TONY YNOC, DIR. JENSEN RACHO, DIR. LARRY, PE RODIEN.
Then we have RTN. BRIGHT HWUANG who pledge to donate $1000 for the clubs’ service projects. This will be used for the remaining months of the RY 2017-2018 until June. PP Tony has proposed some upcoming livelihood projects for San Remigio and Bong Do. We’ll discuss this when we have the details of the project proposals.
Dir. John Sulay has announced the 6th Philippine Open Rotary Golf Tournament which will be on Feb. 15-16 at the ORCHARD GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. Hosted by PHIL. ROTARY FRIENDSHIP AND GOLFING FELLOWSHIP. Each ticket cost 6,000.00
Last Saturday Jan. 27, RC CEBU hosted the PROTOCOL SEMINAR with 4 members of RCCPC attending namely PRES.SOT, PE RODIEN, AG BOY UNABIA, PP REY SABAY. The seminar was very informative considering of the long presentation and limited time. This can be published and make it into a manual for all members to be guided about PROTOCOL. This will differentiate us Rotarians from just ordinary club members. Once we learn the Protocol, we have the proper decorum and the manner of doing things the right way as expected by each Rotarian.
This coming Jan. 31 will be our Bowling Fellowship, please be reminded on the schedule on that day at 7 pm. At SM CITY BOWLING CENTER. Reminders on the DISCON DAVAO March 15-17, 2018 and DISTAS on May 25-26, 2108 at Koronadal City. Please register and booked your flights early.
Tonight, we have a special guest speaker from PICPA CEBU. He’s a former member of RCCPC way back 2004-2005. He was a past president of PICPA CEBU chapter and a practicing CPA. I invited him to come back to our club by giving us a short presentation on the TRAIN LAW – IMPACT ON BUSINESS. Let us please welcome my good friend and former member, MR. ELMER MINERVA.
