Sec. Rodien Paca said as the month of July has completed and we still see attendance of fellow Rotarians slowly peaking up. He was happy for the great support at the main event and main activity like fellowship and Rotary Party.  But he encouraged the presence of his fellow Rotarians to attend this simple and humble one hour regular meeting.

PORTSIDE sponsors would be finalized this week, as we would print the final shiny cover and upload in the website the annual sponsors of the portside.

Sec Rodien also asked each member to always open our website using your mobile phones and computer, www.rccpc-org.com. There have been many updates and features which were not present in the hard copies but a lot features and stories in the website.

Lastly, we have printed in the website the accounts being turned-over last Rotary Year 2014-2015, as a reference of our discussion tonight of the accounts of the Rotary Year 2015-2016.

PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Pres. Toby Florendo thanked all Rotarians who attended our General Assembly last week.

He discussed 2 very important issues.  First, the increase in our dues, which has been one of the lowest in Cebu was deemed to be necessary to be important. The second topic was the project with the Rotary Club of Oita Minami. They wanted to do a project their grant available. The amount would be in the area of US$ 30,000. The President opened the tables for different proposals. AG Tony Ynoc was interested to present many projects. President Toby asked PP Tony to do a small report on the medical mission performed in San Remigio the other week.
