Good day Fellow Rotarians.
It is my great pleasure to serve you as Secretary for this Rotary Year of 2016-2017.
In business offices, secretaries are usually nice to see, talk and she has one of the best works in our offices.
But not in Rotary. The Secretary Position is one of the most challenging position, if not the most avoided position in Rotary. Well, I am very grateful to President Toby for this great opportunity though gigantic to work with.
To start with, these are the programs for this year to start the Secretarial works:
- Member Profile System
- Documentation Systems for the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre. Minutes of meeting shall be sent to all members in regular basis.
- Attendance System for the Members
- On-time Monitoring of Members Payables
- On-line PORTSIDE
We will make some improvements in the meeting setups as follows:
- SPOUSE INVOLVEMENT. We invite the spouses to attend every third Sunday of the month.
- CLASSIFICATION TALKS. Each member has to talk again to the general membership of their classification talks for 6-10 minutes only. The member has the OPTION to bring her SALES/MARKETING staff to do the explanation.
- GUESTS SPEAKERS. We endeavour to have guest speakers once every Rotary month.
For more strategic details and tactical details, the president will be discussing more in projects and plans.
