RCCPC promises at least USD 8,000 to Rotary Foundation

September 19, 2016 – Governor’s Visit
The District Governor called and appealed to RCCPC for not donating a CENT to the ROTARY FOUNDATION for the Rotary Year 2015-2016 under the term of the Past President Jose Boy Unabia. However, she mentioned that ROTARY YEAR 2013-2014 under Past President Masao Koike even at the heights of YOLANDA we donated more than USD 6,000 to the ROTARY FOUNDATION and ROTARY Year 2014-2015 of Past President Romy Toledo remitted more than USD 5,000. This entitled the club to have projects funded from the District this year.
Because of the failed donation last year, RCCPC vowed for huge donations of not less than USD 8,000 this year. More Rotarians also committed to be Paul Harris Fellow. This is triggered during the speech and agitation made by District Rotary Foundation Chain- Philip Tan.
