RCCPC President’s Message – Week 4

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Good day.

Life as a Rotary President for a month significantly changed my personal life and business life management. For the past few days as president, I have not played GOLF as usual and as before. In fact I missed series of Golf Tournaments that I usually attended. I have to make arrangements with study time of my kids without sacrificing the time with them.

I deliberately discussed this matter when our lovely spouses here to invoke sympathy and to induce understand of a working active rotarians like us.

We have agreed that every 3rd Monday should be a fellowship night with spouses and if there will be Birthday Celebrants and Anniversary Celebrants, we would honor them in this event. Should there will be induction the same kind of event will be officially honored. We are thinking of different fellowship every month and each month we strive to have a good time.

We are also planning to have 3 meetings and 1 fellowship meeting every month. Should the month will have 5th Monday, a board meeting will be held wherein we are inviting all PDG’s and PP’s to join us.

Last week July 19-20, 2018, I went to Manila to join the Dinner with RI President Barry Rassin And Lady Esther. IT was a very nice event attended with around 700 Rotarians mostly District Officers and Presidents. I was part of the Mass Induction made by the RI President.

Last July 21, together with AG Boy and Sec Aldrin, I attended the Area 1 Coordination Meeting presided by DDG Jing Fernandez. I presented our Medical Mission last June 2018 and also announced the District Activity of hosting TRF Night on November 10, 2018. We will drum up the TRF contribution of our club since we are the host of this event. So as Early as now, we will make schemes so that TRF contributions in the easier manner. It is good that our Spouses hear this one, since they will be the ones to decide about money matter for some of us.

I apologize to IPP Samson Tio yesterday in their wedding with Spouse Carla because we have attend internment  for my grandfather at City of Naga. We could have attended the event and party but we had so many guests relatives from different provinces and areas.

By the way, we will have the Bloodletting at District Level at July 29, 2018 led by Philip Estocada, Chairman of Grand Bloodletting. We will have Holy Mass at 9:00 am and the activity will start at 10:00 am at Robinson Galleria.
